“ This was our 1st visit to the Tea List and it did not disappoint! We had a party of 13 celebrating the holidays and friendship in general. What better way than to dress up and go to high tea. The service was great and very attentive. We loved the eclectic collection of tea cups, saucers and teapots. The Tea options satisfied everyone. We loved the scones, tea sandwiches, and assorted desserts and fruits. Everyone enjoyed themselves. We would definitely come back again. ”

“ Highly recommend reservations and reading all small print. I found this place online because I was looking for high tea. It was tucked behind buildings with a great outdoor dining area. It was a tad chilly but there were heaters. We tried getting one tea but you have to call 24hrs in advance which we missed somehow. We enjoyed our tea and service was great. They did mess up on all vegetarian sandwiches. Plus was there are vegan options. Staff was very friendly and the petite fours were the stars! ”

“ My friend took me to Tea List in Davis for the first time, and I was really impressed. They have a great selection of teas, and everything we ordered was fresh and beautifully presented. We got the Vegan Afternoon Tea and also shared the Mediterranean Platter. The place has a cozy feel with a cute garden patio. You do need a reservation, even on a weekday. We went on a Thursday and it was already fully booked. I’m really glad I got to try it and would definitely go again. ”

“ Went for sister’s birthday! The service was great and the food was really good! The cucumber sandwiches were a bit thin maybe have the cucumber a bit more thicker? Overall it was really nice!! ”

“ Wow! I came here on a Saturday morning by invitation of a friend and I was blown away! The quality of teas and the small bites is so lovely! I love they also made some arrangements when a friend of mine couldn't eat fruits and made some replacements on our service. I thought it was very lovely, the tables a bit on smaller end if it's a group of three but if you're dining alone or with a friend I think this is an amazing experience. ”

“ What a lovely small little place to have afternoon tea with friends and/or family. I always selected High Tea Service. The food was excellent and so was the service. Loved the scone with fresh homemade Devonshire cream and berry jam. I’ve been here many times and still want to come back again and again. The price is very reasonable. I’ve been to many high tea places and so far this one is the cheapest and with excellent food. Free 2 hours parking on the street. Highly recommended. ”

“ Nice little tea place. Foods and tea were great, but just like most other tea places the tea was bland due to stingy amount of tea leaves in each pot. But overall good experience. Love the scones, the pastry, and the tuna sandwich. ”

“ It's a tiny cafe in a alleyway so it's not visible from the street. Plan on parking in a nearby public lot as there's very limited street parking near it. They have a smaller tea menu on weekends then the week. There's no al a carte food options on the weekend and the scones are only one flavor. The clotted cream used is a different flavor/type then used in traditional English tea shops and cafes. The seating is indoor or outdoor and it's quiet outside due to its location. It's a rare shop that offers a afternoon tea in the Sacramento area. The next closest type of shop to Davis is in Vacaville. Having experienced real afternoon tea in London, this is a decent attempt to meet those standards. The lack of food on weekends and variety of scones is disappointing, however. ”
